In 2013, Mike's father, a 63-year-old US veteran, underwent ankle replacement surgery, requiring lengthy recovery and rehabilitation. After physical therapy, he was unsure about engaging in physical activities, so Mike devised a fitness program to help his father regain confidence and mobility. Despite living in different states, Mike sent weekly video workouts to his father, focusing on safe movements using resistance bands to improve strength, mobility, and balance. 

The program successfully boosted his father's confidence, enabling him to enjoy hobbies like attending sporting events and golfing. This initiative inspired the creation of the MPR Senior Med Exercise Program, which also aided his father's knee replacement recovery in 2018.


Mike pursued further education, earning a BSc in Exercise Science and becoming a certified personal trainer, medical exercise specialist, and nutrition coach. He managed fitness centers and developed a keen interest in helping seniors recover from health setbacks. His program addresses chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and joint stiffness.
Mike's MPR Med Exercise Program for seniors incorporates nutrition, hydration, sleep management, and portion control. After testing it with many clients, he expanded it globally through video sessions, offering comprehensive support for seniors to optimize health and well-being.
